The 15 hectares of vineyards are part of the property of the Schwarz family, which has always been in love with the beauty of these places. The Sangiovese grapes come from vineyards that are more than 40 years old and are cultivated on the southeastern side of Montalcino, in the Sant'Antimo area, \u003cstrong\u003eat an altitude of about 400-450 meters above sea level\u003c\/strong\u003e. The sunny and always well-ventilated exposure allows grapes of excellent quality, healthy and rich in aromas to ripen. The vines are grown on stony, sandy soils that rest on deeper layers of clay. At the end of the harvest, the best grapes are selected and sent to fermentation, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in truncated conical vats, with a 40-day maceration period on the skins. The wine ages for 36 months in 500-liter tonneaux, 1\/3 new and the remaining 2\/3 used.
