Wyborowa ranks among vodkas of superior quality, as it is still produced exclusively with rye, ingredient reference to the absolute quality. The rye used, harvested in summer in selected areas in north-eastern Poland, is particularly rich in starch and then breaks down more easily into fermentable sugars. The first distillation takes place in different agricultural distilleries: pure alcohol thus obtained is carefully adjusted in a single distillery in Poznan and subjected to carbon filtration. Finally, is diluted with demineralized water, to obtain the right grade. The result of the manufacturing process is a vodka of absolute transparency, with aromatic notes of grain and sesame that give way to a smooth and balanced taste with a barely perceptible sweetness, resulting from the careful process of rectification of rye.
