Mitterberg Weiss 'Trias' Niedrist 2019

The impressive Niedrist vineyards are located on the top of the village Girlan with a breathtaking view over the valley of Balzano. Ignaz Niedrist owns five acres of vineyards and treats them as an ornamental garden. Yields are kept very low and in a good harvest produces forty hectoliters per hectare. In the cellar the wine undergoes minimal winemaking intervention, letting the characteristics of the terroir to express themselves better and differently depending on the year. Ignaz believe, in fact, that the wine has already been done in the vineyard, his job is just to guide it to its natural conclusion. The wine of this niche production, thanks to the attention to detail is concentrated, complex and wonderful.
