Pinot Nero 'Mazzon' Bruno Gottardi 2012

The Pinot Noir Mazzon of the cellar Gottardi, takes its name from the vineyard defined as “monument” of Italian wine culture. The parcels of land of the family Gottardi are beautifully placed in the highest part of the vineyard Mazzon, a complex terroir where the composition of soil is rich and varied, ranging from porphyritic character calcareous sands. Today the company is run by the son of Bruno Gottardi, Alexander, who leads the winemaking of Gottardi cellar in the name of tradition and environmental sustainability. While tasting Pinot Noir Mazzon is easily understood why the hill from which it takes its name is nicknamed "the sky" of Pinot Noir and confirms that here grow the best quality of the grapes of the finest red wine of Trentino region. The Pinot Noir Mazzon has been confirmed as one of the best pinot noir of Italy and the audience loves it for the valuable velvety sensations in mouth.
