Prosecco Superiore Brut "Prior" by Bortomiol is a sparkling wine that sums up the history of the Bortolomiol winery and the great contribution made by its founder Giuliano Bortolomiol to the Valdobbiadene wine renaissance. It is in fact the Prosecco that inaugurated the Brut dosage in 1960, when the only versions produced were still Dry or Extra Dry. Its name indicates this primacy: Prior in fact means 'first' in Latin, but also 'most important', and it is the winery's pride and joy, the most important in a line of traditional vintage sparkling wines.

Bortolomiol's Prosecco Superiore Brut "Prior" comes from Glera grapes grown in the hills of Valdobbiadene with great ecological and environmental sensitivity. In fact, the winery imposes a protocol called Green Mark on winegrowers to safeguard the land and biodiversity, as well as demanding respect for and sharing of very precise technical choices aimed at obtaining the best quality. In the cellar, a team of expert oenologists prepares the sparkling wine base and supervises all production processes.

The Brut "Prior" Prosecco Superiore by Bortomiol is a modern and expressive Prosecco with a rich, fresh and fragrant profile. It has a beautiful, bright straw yellow colour and exudes aromas of fruit and white flowers, green apple, fresh hazelnuts, citrus fruits and herbs. The palate reveals softness, vivacity, freshness and good sapidity. The fine, continuous and persistent perlage gently caresses the palate, contributing to the balanced and lively taste tension. Due to its low sugar content, this Prosecco shows a good gastronomic vocation and can be paired with appetisers and first courses based on fish or vegetables, but also with fried foods or tasty fish.
