Whisky Single Malt 'Sienna' Macallan

The Single Malt Whisky “Sienna” Macallan is a hot whisky from one of the most famous distilleries in the world and in 2014 it was awarded with the gold medal by the Whisky Bible. The ardor, which expresses itself in very complex flavors, is foretold by the color sienna that paints it: warm tones which are well suited to the elegant scent and the very soft and creamy taste. The spiced expression of whisky “Sienna” is commensurate with cool accents of citrus, a set of tones with a smooth taste, great as straight, with water or ice. The master distillers suggest to enhance its flavors savoring it in the Apricot Whisky Sour, a cool, decidedly pleasant, apricot cocktail. The Whisky “Sienna” is part of the 1824 Series, designed to celebrate the anniversary of the license’s granting for the Macallan production: compared to the other members of the collection - Gold, Amber and Ruby - Sienna cam be distinguished thanks to its aspect and its very intense character. They are the result of a high craftsmanship, which includes a distillation in small copper stills, a very severe selection of the obtained spirit and a maturation in Spanish Sherry oak barrels. The name, indicating the pigment itself, is to be referred to the choice of avoiding any artificial coloring.
